This Country Kitchen remodel is a full gut renovation focused on maximizing space, durability, and everyday functionality—completed on a tight budget through a hands-on, DIY build approach. I developed the new space plan from the ground up, doubling the size of the kitchen and reworking the layout to significantly improve flow, storage, and usability.

To keep costs in check without sacrificing design, IKEA cabinetry was strategically combined and configured like a puzzle to create a cohesive, custom-looking kitchen. I assisted with cabinetry planning and retrofitting, finish selections, project coordination, and overall design direction, while the clients took on much of the construction themselves with minimal subcontractors. The result is a hardworking, country-inspired kitchen that feels intentional, elevated, and built to last.
